Are THC Bath Bombs Legit?

We have more and more THC items on the market than ever before. A popular one that’s become more widespread, is bath bombs. Are they worth it though? Do they really help the body? Yes, they can, and here, we’ll go over why this is a good way for you to get these cannabinoids delivered right to you!

How they Work

THC bath bombs are interesting. They interact directly with the biggest organ that you have the skin. Basically, your skin is one giant organ, housing everything internally from the world outside. But what’s cool is that it’s not a barrier that’s completely impermeable. In fact, there are so many different layers, and some substances and compounds are able to get deep within there.

Underneath the skin that you have, are cannabinoid receptors, and these cannabinoids can be naturally targeted by these THC products. Bath bombs that have THC and CBD in there work similarly to the massage oils that they have, or those patches which are used directly onto the body. they absorb this, and usually, it offers a body high, and not one that’s super psychoactive. So you don’t have to worry about getting super paranoid while you’re in the bath of course.

The delivery method is pretty easy to put together. You sit in a bath, and the compounds go in. This is otherwise known as percutaneous absorption, which is basically passive diffusion, which delivers this to where the bloodstream is.

But the compound is pretty easy to concentrate, and it does get into the rest of the body, especially the areas not exposed to this, through your bloodstream of course.

Do they Get you High

They won’t get you high in the same way as smoking a bowl or hitting a vape. But it definitely does have some effects.  The effects include that they can give you a ton of relaxation, which is otherwise called a body high.

The Benefits and Drawbacks

The first, is that they’re incredibly relaxing. They also come with various essential oils to make them smell good, and help you relax. They also help with reading inflammation. Some of these come with Epsom salts, which then break down into magnesium and sulfate, which the body absorbs, reducing inflammation and benefiting you, but there isn’t any research that’s definitive.

They’re also great for the skin, since cannabis oils and THC are usually made with a base of fatty acids, softening the skin, and rejuvenating it too.

Finally, if you do decide to buy these, they are pretty inexpensive. Or, if you want to make your own, they’re super easy for you to make and you can pretty much make them with a few ingredients, a mold, and then there you go.

The drawback is that it definitely will still cause a little bit of the psychoactive effects. It’s also not very efficient, so if you’re looking for a totally great body high, this might be it. Usually, these are small amounts, since our skin is semi-permeable, which is a fancy word for only letting a few things in.

It won’t create the effects that are psychoactive, but it does make you incredibly relaxed. If you’re trying to get high, then you might want to forgo this means, and then get a normal bud or vape.

With that said, there are tons of benefits to THC bath bombs, and they’re not just a fad item. They’re simple to use, very effective, and great for offering intense relaxation, and helping you feel good in the process for your body and mind.
